will the cookies taste of insects?

we’ve developed our cookie recipes with flavour in mind - because that’s what cookies are for! The mealworm flour we use has a mild, nutty taste, and our recipes call for strong flavours (like chocolate and ginger) to ensure that your bakes taste as good as they look.

are the cookies healthy?

our cookies pack a nutritional punch! High in protein and fibre, as well as heart-healthy Omega-6 fatty acids, the insect flour in our recipes makes for a nutrient dense treat.

is it safe to eat ground insects?

yes - many traditional cultures have consumed insects for millennia, and 2 billion people worldwide regularly insect insects. Insects are so good for us that the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation actually encourages the consumption of insect protein as part of a balanced diet!
